About Sophie

Sophie has been working in Theatre and Events since 2003. Starting what was SCL Entertainment in 2004, Which has now grown to be SpotOn Events. and in 2018 turning it into a Limited Company. 

Sophie has worked a variety of roles over the years, From Casual technicians in local theatres. To Touring Technical Manager on the road. Production Manager of Lighting and Stage Management. Gala Dinners, AGMs, Product Launches, TV Shows, and a whole lot in between. 

Theatre and Events is Sophies 2nd Career, After spending 6 years working in IT Support and Repair, before training in Electrical Installation while working on stage. As the Founder of SpotOn Events Sophie now only works exclusively for SpotOn with the occasional tour now and then. 

Sophie is a transgender lady with a can do attitude and always willing to learn more and push the boundaries of what can be achieved. 

Sophie enjoys designing shows and thinks every event should be one to remember in a good way and that every event should be bigger and better than the last.

    Valid up to 28th February 2023

    Day Rate (up to 12 Hours) - £300 + VAT (£360)
    Day and a half (up to 16 Hours) - £450 + VAT (£540)
    Double Day (up to 20 Hours) - £600 + VAT (£720)
    20 Hours is the Maximum in one call.

    Between the hours of 00:00 and 02:00
    or 05:00 to 07:00 an extra £15.00 per hour will be charged.
    Calls going past 02:00 or beginning before 05:00 will be charged at the next rate. Up to 2 Hours traveling is included in a Days booking, over 2 hours will be charged.

    Travel

    Travel is charged at 0.45p a mile, Each Way,
    Travel from B75 (Sutton Coldfield - West Midlands)

    Parking / Congestion Charges will be added to Invoice
    We will try and limit these charges.

    Central London is normally done by Train. We will book cheapest tickets.

    Parking should be supplied where possible, Our Transport is a LWB High top van (2.6m High)

    Food and Accommodation

    Food should be provided when working over a meal time.
    PDs should be provided if food is not an option.

    Accommodation should be supplied when the venue is outside the West Midlands or the job is over multiple days.

    Rooms must be single rooms (Not sharing with others)
